FINALLY gets reissued as "bonus tracks" to all his cover songs haha. the track "Amon Ra" is still a classic.

Man it is about time, this is going to be sweet. Of course because Swano can do no wrong.
The selections of covers are cool, the Depeche Mode makes me think of the first Nightingale.

It's not bad. I'm not wild about a lot of the songs that he chose to cover, but it's nice to hear Dan singing again all the same. "In the Heat of the Night" could even get some radio play if Vic chose to release it (they won't, of course)...very Pain-y. The original EP is great, of course...Dan was just off his ass at that time in terms of songwriting. Seems like a long time since he released anything that he's written, but he's been pretty candid about the fact that he's been blocked for a while now.

In fact, I think I've gone a full four weeks without playing something by Swano on WREKage (!) ...which I'll have to correct this week.
He's still one of the nicest musicians I've ever met at PPUSA, which is saying something.

Well to be honest the covers don't fit right with the EP I think. And as for the covers they are hit and miss; like the Depeche Mode and Rainbow, really don't like the Candlemass. And the original tracks seem a bit different from the first issued EP But it's Dan so it is all good.
