I was listening to Crimson II in the car today, and I thought to myself, "How did Dan get to be so good at what he does?"
I'm not sure if this has been answered already, but did Dan receive a formal musical education at a school for example, or did his mastery of music simply come from years of experience in all those bands and growing up around music in general?
If anyone knows, feel free to enlighten, or if Dan wishes to give a more thorough account, I think we would all appreciate it greatly.
