I have question for all of you is it me or almost all the melodic death metal bands very metaphorical about stuff. Because when I read the lyrics to some of Dt's shit I have no clue what the hell they are talking about like what do they mean by...

What does Michael Stahne mean by the chorus to Therein. I love the song so much and the emotion in the song relates to me so well, but I dont know what they mean by the lyrics.
And what is the song Auction all about. Is it about slavery or something much different? And I do not understand the meaning behind Freecard.
