Darren White

Hello Sir.
I happen to be a big big fan of Anathema. Im from New Delhi , India. Not many people know about Anathema here. Im sorry I dont buy your music cuz its not commercially available so I have to resort to downloading. Please forgive me. Anyways I think you are one hell of a wonderful singer. Sometimes your music makes me feel so numb and the feeling I get is really awesome. My favourite tracks are ONE LAST GOODBYE and ANYONE,ANYWHERE. I just loved Judgement and Alternative 4.
I downloaded A FINE DAY TO EXIT too. I wish you carry on with your brillaint music and do say Hi To others from my side.
Take Care.
I'd be glad if you get this message. Just Hope you do , man
Thanks.

ah my fault, i directed him here, he doesn't know much about anathema so he didn't get that Darren was the original singer and Vinny, unfortunately doesn't post on here

Where were all these kind people when I needed them most?
John, I don't reckon me vocals have gone "clean" or anything. Do you mean with Dead Men Dream? Do you think they are clean with DMD? Should I muddy em up a bit? I cannot really go back to deep growls except for a nostalgic laugh, but I felt that they were at least quite "hard" on the Dead Men Dream songs I recorded. Anyway, I don't really wanna do that old style cause I think its been done "to death", so
)....................

PS: my hair is right now more messy than ever.

:OMG: please to meet you Darren, didn't knew you where here
almost 1:30 a.m. :ill: can't even read now, tomorrow we will see

hehe funny thing, I'm getting into the old albums these days. I couldn't stand the voice before but now i'm used to it and there are real betler songs on some of the old stuff, though i knew many of them before.
Don't want to raise shit but ... Crestfallen's intro ... the drum pattern, the guitar melody ... Reminds me of something :D But I knew who did made it first, don't worry Danny ;)

If you look at The Crestfallen EP lyrics and that, the dates of when they were written are printed next to each song. Ugh, what am I saying?:erk: Crestfallen and They Die were on the All Faith is Lost demo anyway, thats enough proof.

That's exactly what i meant Dunc. Sorry if it was a bit confusing. I know Crestfallen was on the 91 demo and 'S**R M*' was on the 'A* T** F**W**S WI**E*' album which was released in 92. I know YOU guys wrote the thing first, i realised that yesterday when listening to the demo for the first time and then checked both band's homepages to make sure about the release dates ... Oh anyway ... it was 12 years ago ... peace
