John, I don't reckon me vocals have gone "clean" or anything. Do you mean with Dead Men Dream? Do you think they are clean with DMD? Should I muddy em up a bit? I cannot really go back to deep growls except for a nostalgic laugh, but I felt that they were at least quite "hard" on the Dead Men Dream songs I recorded. There's a darkness still inside me, and it's screaming to be released. I've tried contacting it, but it hurts. It will only come out with the happiness of hearing some excellent grinding riffs that inspire. Hopefully the Dead Men Dream gentlemen have some good stuff for me to hear soon (they're sending me a CD of new ideas out to Vietnam so I can get "into the groove").
PS: my hair is right now more messy than ever.
Think that people don't listen Anathema anymore. :Smug:
Well Darren I mean clean respecting "Serenades" vocals, but IMO I think DMD vocals are very diferent to Pentecost III (5/5 album) :hotjump: .
In some way yeah I think they are a bit clean in DMD.
About going into Anathema, yeah I got in with the eternity in 96, for me there where only one anathema album, then later The Silent.., passed alot of time to get in Pre-pentecost albums but then I heard the Anathema vibe they had and whoaw!!. Am not to interested in the demo stuff, Well should be great to have them.
Conserve that darkness part inside you and also your hair!!!
and good luck with your next works, hope to see "Rise Phanteon Dreams" one day
