I just finished a rough draft for the first song of my new project, Daus.
It's basically Melodic Black Metal in the style of my favorite scandinavian bands like Dissection, Watain etc.
It is as yet classified as an Instrumental, but I would really like to work out a suiting vocal perfomance if anybody is interested. Bass is also missing, but I'll do that myself once I fixed my bass. The mix is nothing special as it is not my main goal with this project. One thing I'd like to fix is parallel compression in the kicks when the snare comes in, it's to inaudible during fast double kick right now.
I'd love to hear opinions, regards, Max.
