Ok, after listening to "The Unsettling Dark" about 9 million times, one of the things that has been of question to me is the panning of the cymbals and such. You can tell that everything is absolute, meaning it's either on the left or the right. This kinda bothered me at first but after a while I wonder if this was for a reason.
Also, it made me wonder what exactly is going on. Is he muting everything except what is played when it's played? I think it's not programmed...but I don't know. In that case, even if there was OH automation going on along with things just being individually micd or something, wouldn't there still be some fade out bleed and room sound? I iz confyuzzed!
