I just made a cover of Spanish pop artist David Bisbal's Qué Tendrás, with an amazing team of local musicians (we are from Seville, Spain). I used Axe FX II for guitars and bass and drums were real (recorded at Estudio Octopus), but used Toontrack samples for reinforcement/replacement. For vocals I used an Audio Technica AT4040 straight into my Focusrite Scarlett 18i20. Here you have the result:
