David Lee Roth wants to reunite VAN HALEN

I would def go to a VH show, with DLR or Hagar. I would rather DLR though. I have never gotten a chance to see them. You are right though, DLR has done some insane things since he has left Van Halen. He got to Jam with Steve Vai, he has seen places in the world I will probably never see, he got clean, he got his damned EMT certifacation - I never saw that coming! And now he has his show, in a prime slot. I have not gotten a chance to hear it yet, but, I have a feeling I would like it. Just not on my morning commute - give me fast and heavy while I'm on the way to work.

That was always my one beef with Stern - I liked his show, but, sometimes when they would be in a lag, just talking or whatever, and I am sitting in a mess of traffic, I would start to drift off. I hate mornings/

You know gang I just can't see it happen. I mean they tried it before and it didn't work out because once again Roth and Van Halen didn't get a long. Well, if they actually do it you know what concert I'm heading to...the Anthrax concert.

In any event, Roth doesn't need to reunite, while the VH brothers do. They don't have any money left from all the jerking around they did. They are completely outdated and not much more than an adult contemporary pop band at this point.

Yeah, right...who's playing Las Vegas and who's playing stadiums, again?

and tapping is extremely (sic) overrated now. Steve Via took tapping to a whole new level, and now hearing Ed's tapping solo seems so, 3rd grader. Its still a good solo, on any front, but it is just out dated. With that said, I would go to see a reunion.

That's so lame. Steve Vai is a god on guitar, but basicly the only thing he did, was take Eddie's playing style and sometimes speed it up a little. Vai also can't write shit, and you can fucking quote me on that one!

yo, Eddie practicaly invented tapping, so don't knock his style. Nobody who was the first to do something is the best at what they did. Some new player is always going to be there to blow you out of the water.

I can't see Dave and Eddie getting back together ever, no matter how cool it would be. Plus it's 20+ years on and time and music have passed them by; I always wonder if Dave knows how ridiculous he seems - though he does have $20m I don't :erk:
