I was looking at buying one. But i just dont like the headstock they use (on there V's) so i ended up getting 2 schecter Hellraiser v's. Both string through (cherry black and black).
Yup, ex Dean guy. The guitars look nice, I checked them out at NAMM, they look too flashy for my taste but construction-wise they are great. Didn't get to try them plugged so I can't really comment on the sound, but they resonated well unplugged.
I think they look really awkward, like half-pointy and half-round. Not enough of either, looks tacky IMO. Haven't tried one though, sure they play pretty fine.
It's pretty much a normal body shape, they just took the binding and ran it into the body to accent it a little. The headstock is indeed a little big and pointy but I like the fact that I have not found anything similar to this before.
