since I saw you a few times in this forum, I'd like to know if you checked out the katatonia-covers from the recent contest. With my band Claret we've done Deadhouse.
I'd really like to hear your opinion about that.

Actually, I would enjoy listening to some of the cover versions again. I followed the contest but only managed to download a handful of songs.

Is there an opportunity to do so?

Hmmm, I guess some of us could post links to our stuff or something (I did a doom version of A Darkness Coming) if we put them on a web site. I downloaded a few of them as well, maybe they could be put out somewhere too. Or maybe via email?

I actually have all the songs from the contest zipped up. Unfortunately it is an 100mb zip file, and I don't have that much room left on the web server currently.. I guess I can remove some Kata samples from the sample section or something.. I dunno, I'll see what I can do.

What i particularly like about it is that it is not a boring copy of the original and also that it is somehow more gothic...

Is it possible to post all Songs on mp3.com/katatoniadotcom again?
Or maybe all the other artists could post links, too??
Would be great to know the ranking list and the amount of votes every band had in that contest.
