Don't waste your money...get ALL of them in VCC. It's a better option by far. The Neve is worth the cost alone.

Have to agree with this. I love VCC to death, but RC tube has hardly ever been my favourite. It does have some qualities though. The few times I have chosen it over the others were on tracks that were supposed to sound a bit vintage. It has also helped me with the smoothing of harsh mids all over the place on instruments like synths, or recorded bell-like sounds.

In my experience, it distorts pretty easily, even on well-set inputlevels. I'm not sure if that is intended due to its nature, but I don't like the way it sounds. Turning down the Drive knob helps alleviate this problem without changing your levels, so it's no disaster, but I thought it should be mentioned.

IMO, the greatest thing about VCC is the Neve mixbus. That with 4x/8x oversampling is just beautiful. I have been using VCC daily since its release and have yet to find a situation where it didn't just flat-out make everything sound better and more 3D.
