also: is that gay flag waving thing anything like Mexican Independence day or May 5th in Chicago? On those days it's like Mexican flag waving day there, almost to the point that they attack your car. Kinda scary.

Although last year (post 9/11) they waved a ton of American flags too- much more than the previous year, anyway.

well, for the AIDS walk in boston, there's some tricky curves along the esplanade which has, in the past, led to some enthusiastic runners loping off-course and ending up on the highways and shit, so nowadays there are lines of AIDS workers and volunteers waving flags and shaking maracas and stuff and pointing where to go.

my brother's roomate put up a big American flag in their window. There is a picture of David Lee Roth on the back however, so my brother flipped it around and Diamond Dave has been hanging in the window for the last 5 days, and no one has noticed.
