there isn't such thing as "the best metal band ever".but Chuck was a genius,one of the most influential person for the heavy metal scene."Human" is a top 5 album for me.also,Chuck woudn't be very happy knowing his music is still labeled as "death-metal".

Death were a very impressive and influential band. But as far as best metal band? That's up to individual opinion. Death is in my top 10 favorite bands and Chuck was/and stil is one of my favorite guitarists.
