Death/Black Metal Bands

Hey everyone, i must confess im a bit of an extreme metal noob, only been into extreme metal since bout march!
I love Opeth, so far i like Emperor, Soilwork, Dark Tranquillity, CoF, Dimmu Borgir, Katatonia, can you guys direct me to some more Melodic Death and Black Metal bands?? Cheers

All I have to say is Windir. They've been kicking my ass lately. Their latest release is orgasmic. Oh yeah, and they're black metal.

Dimmu Borgir and CoF are not really extreme metal. They're the p00ssy side of black metal.

Btw, Katatonia is more doom metal than black or death. If you like them, get some My Dying Bride too and Electric Wizard.

I don't think of Sigh as black metal. The only black metal influence is the voice. They're definitely experimental metal. It's a good intro into black metal, as is Emperor's Prometheus's.

I've only heard Imaginary Sonicscape. I completely forgot about the resty.... oh and Hail HOrro Hall. But that wasn't too good ofan album IMO

I know Negura Bunget rules. The fact alone that I come from the country they're in signals theyr'e on of my favorite bands. I just don't think someone will like them unless theyr'e used to extreme metal.
