Death metal from Poland (SSD, HM-2, etc.). Please rate!! :)

Hi,

I'm mixing death metal project from Poland right now. I'm working at the mix template for 10 tracks. Thay wanted to sound "Swedish". So here's my try:

Nice production too. Definitely has the Swedish sound.

Personally, I feel like the mix is a bit muddy though. The Swedish sound is thick, but this is a little too thick. You can even hear the bass "farting" out in certain parts. Try takign out some bass or low mids int he guitar, or using a multiband compressor on them. The guitars also drown out the snare a bit, and the kick to a certain extent.

I can't listen this for moment but why a Polish band want sound Swedish?

Polish DM sound > Swedish DM sound imo

Tough! Im diggin the tune mate. I am starting to learn more about tones lately and I agree with the above, those guits are very muddy, especially on the mutes.

The band is satisfied with the old mix but... I'm not, hehe... It was too muddy as you have pointed.
Any tips would be very helpful and highly appreciated
