Death Metal Mix...Need Advice!!!!

Im working on a mix for a death metal song...Ala Bloodbath.

Any tips on what could be tweaked?

I've not added any bass atm but if anyone would hint some good frequencies to cut/boost for this type of tune would be great!

Filter out everything below 60hz in the guitars. There's some audible clipping, turn down the volume. Try mixing through a compressor if you aren't already.

I cut the lows on boogex back to 60HZ so theoricaly is should be better now yeah?

Definitely! 2 more points. Get rid of the low end on all of the cymbals and make sure they're not too loud in the mix. The lead tone needs to be a bit brighter too.

you need a mad chebyshev 72dB/octave hi-pass on that, at like 40/50/60Hz, there is some serious trickery going on with the low end on the guitars!

other than that, this is pretty fucking good so far.. dunno what else to suggest!

(the eq'ing i speak of is from here - the free one lets you use upto 36dB per octave - more than enough!)
