Death Metal song (album) needing engineer to mix

Just to update anyone still interested, I am going to go with Kazrog from this forum to mix my new CD. I worked with him on my last CD as well and had great success. I was testing the waters here to see what others could do and Kazrog seems to be able to do what I need and we have a good working relationship.

Sounds great! Love the balance between all the instruments. Drums sound really great. Guitars are powerful but sharp

Just wanted to follow up this thread since it was last December that I was looking for someone to mix/master the album. Below is some info as well as 3 tracks posted on youtube, since its on youtube its not the best quality but you can get an idea of the album.

The drum programming as well as the mixing/mastering was done by Shane McFee (Kazrog from this forum).



The North Carolina based Death Metal band BLOODSOAKED will release "The Death of Hope" in mid July 2011 via Comatose Music. The album was recorded at The Basement Studio with Producer/Engineer Jamie King (Between The Buried and Me, Through the Eyes of the Dead, Wretched) and mixed by Shane McFee who also mixed the last BLOODSOAKED album "Sadistic Deeds...Grotesque Memories".

Oh yeah, they are programmed. Thought you were saying they sounded very fake, I have gotten a lot of compliments about the drums on the few tracks I have posted. I think most will not even know they are programmed, most meaning death metal fans outside the forum...haha
