Death metal with clean vocals?

Stuff like Vintersorg, or the newer Amorphis..

I guess I wasn`t too clear, but I`m looking for more bands along those lines, suggestions appreciated.

Deffinately KATATONIA - discouraged ones, tonights decision, last fair deal gone down. brave murder day has one clean vox song and some rare clean parts in the other songs. but you must have already heard of them right? also try forest of shadows.

broadening that horizen a bit try lacuna coil or the gathering, theyre metal but more like rock to tell you the truth. theyre my fav bands anyway.

I`ve heard both Lacuna Coil and the gathering..... I wasn`t too impressed with If_then_else, so I haven`t bothered checking out their other stuff..

Tiamat though use to be death and is now like hhmmmm goth something ... still very good stuff though. But if you like both vocal style incorperated check out Clouds or Wildhoney.

aaaaawwwwww I liked Crematory. Transmigration is really good. But that is all of I have heard of them ... oh wait I did see a video for them but it was a love song and the guy was growling about loving. That was a little odd. But I like em so far.

Definitely check out The Gathering's "Nighttime Birds"
and "How To Measure A Planet"

Eh, I don`t pay attention to labels as much as some people. I suppose most would now classify Amorphis as 'hard rock'.....

Heard of Lake of Tears, good stuff..

I downloaded a Crematory song, "Temple of Love", and it wasn`t too bad, though the vocals weren`t as clean as I might have liked. Same goes for Shadows Fall.
