I was at my local small town record store and was thumbing through the Death section (they still have a Death section!) Then I saw "A tribute to death". I almost shit my pants. But then I noticed all the bands that did the songs. This is not james murphy :waah: Who the hell are these bands? So like a fool I bought it anyway :Puke: Its not that horrible (at least they are death songs) Is this the record that Chuck's mom is pissed about?
I'm just wondering if the real Tribute album will be available in the near future?
Thanks

There have been a few Death tribute albums. I'm not sure if Jane is pissed about those (though she did say she didn't like people making money off Chuck's name), but what you might be thinking of are the Zero Tolerance albums released by Karmageddon. They contain some unfinished Control Denied songs from the second album (Chuck and Richard Christy only) and a number of old Death demos and live tracks.

when is the album coming out??fall of 2006 maybe early 2007 im betting.
he still hasn't signed the project with record label yet if I remember correctly...

not true.. it is signed to Mascot records and it is close to entering the mixing stage. scheduled for release the first quarter of 2006.

he's posted updates on his site, I think there's a link above....members of opeth, chimaira, shadows fall, mudvayne, dave culross from malevolent creation/suffocation, richard christy (some rough videos I think too) etc....kinda covers musicians from the newer scenes to the more extreme scenes.

I am waiting anxiosly for the release of this album. I am grateful for that guys like James exists, true to their heart and they don´t come so easily these days.

OK. Not to be a pain in the ass, but I'm dying to hear this tribute recording (I know I'm not the only one) Is there any info, updates or any information of any kind at all about the James's Death tribute recording? :notworthy

Yeah, I don't even want to know anything about it.Just keep it a big secret. Who even likes Death Or Chuck Schuldiner, what did he ever do for metal.
