I like the idea of a band with 2 drummers and 2 bass players (even if it recalls me the name of Slipknot.... but maybe it's just a nightmare ).

Anyway I think we could decide a final line-up and just begin to make our reharsal that I think could consist in mp3s with our performance sent to all member of the bands, then we decide the better pieces and need a person to put them togheter with a good software (that he has to pay to register ).
I forgot the most important passage of the process: before our performance sent to other memebers we have to write the music , so in this phase everyone propose its idea and we all decide what sounds good and what bad.

I understood hehe, but ahem....*cough* im not the best guitar player in the world so Ill just stick to rhythm, you can officially do all the solos and leads mothernorth It is kinda a cool idea tho, us all recording and having someone put it together, tho i dont have any actual recroding equipment other than my mic hehe.

yeah, it would be a cool thing to do, but it would take so long to put it all together and compose, after all 1 person would have to come up with the backbone of the track, some guitar riff or something, then this riff will have to be posted to every1 else who will have to put their own bit to it and mail it back and keep doing it until it sounds good.

Yes, I understand the method is quite difficult in comparion to a common and usuale reharsal but we all live in different country and so this was the only idea I had.... if you have another one please make me know...

About the registering equip: I've the only mic as well....

Nothing is decided yet so other possibilities to write music are welcome....

Hey, MotherNorth, I had experience with that kind of work, and I can say it only works if bandmembers give the best of themselves. If one is lazy, it won't work!
But on the other hand, my vocals could be a trouble. I can't get into the music as easily when I do it alone as when I'm on a real rehersal.

I meant first writing music in a way or in another then record....

But I've some difficulties in speaking you know, even in Italian my results aren't better....
