Depressing, Sorrowful, Misanthropic Black Metal: Let's Discuss

So, anyone still listening to all the misanthropic, depressive, organic, or whatever label is being applied to this style of black metal still? I've just re-discovered Mortifera, got heavily into Weakling's 'Dead As Dreams', and have been thoroughly enjoying Amesoeur's self-titled... Wolves In The Throne Room's 'Black Cascade' is quite incredible, too.

Haven't heard that one - will get onto it ASAP. Managed to dig out copies of stuff by Silencer, Make A Change... Kill Yourself and Shining recently too, as well as that Animus CD - got that free from Ars Magna because the Raventale CD was out of stock, still haven't managed to listen to it more than, say, five times. Might give that one another shot.

Suicidal Emotions is probably the best this "genre" has to offer, and I really like Shining II even though I think Kvarforth is silly.

Bethlehem have done some killing stuff

Forgotten Tomb, the first album in particular

Most of this has probably been mentioned already and I'm tired as a motherfucker so I can't do this well anyway

EDIT: That shirt says "Destroying my life since 1996", right? Niklas Kvarforth was twelve years old in 1996 I think.
