Devin Townsend 'Ki' Video (his home studio setup)

Yeah seen it before... as I said, he's just a "tad" disturbed... haha :D

In all honesty, I think he has had times where he was a million times more crazy than when making that video. I heard from a friend that he was riding around on a food wagon at the restaurant he was working at when he quit his job... naked. His buddy apparently came down and pushed the wagon around while he played with his balls among the customers hahaha, I don't know if this is true but what the fuck, NOW you can talk about being disturbed :)

HAHA! Nice! That definitely sounds like something Dev would do.

I'll pick this up, but while I absolutely love some of what Devin has done, all of his releases that I own have had flaws IMO, usually in the form of parts that I feel are just too long-winded and "out-there." As a result, I think the comparatively "simple" (though I'd say "tight in song structure") Accelerated Evolution is by far my favorite (out of Ziltoid, Synchestra, and Ocean Machine, the latter two especially just being...odd; I guess I don't "get" Devin, so I just get bored when he goes on and on with songs like "Sister" and stuff - haven't heard Terria, but I'm not really expecting to like it much, since everyone praised the hell out of "Ocean Machine" and I was pretty let down by it...)

Terria is a snapshot of probably one of the lowest points in a deep depression. There is some seriously somber, almost tear-jerking points on that disc. Its beautiful actually but yeah, probably more in line with Ocean Machine than Accelerated

Well I love extremely powerfully emotional music (hence why Pain of Salvation, pretty much the most emotional band I've ever heard, is one of my all-time favorites), but Ocean Machine is too...spacey for me most of the time (though it has its moments). I'll check out Terria though, what the heck!
