No, I always assumed since the Black Sabbath songs I know are in standard they didn't do it back then.

I have one and out of all the cables I've used it keeps my signal chain pretty much hum and buzz free. Overpriced but not too shabby.

I'd use Roadrunner cables over PlanetWaves, to be honest. The circuit cut feature is kind of cool but worthless in my opinion.
