DI box connections

I am looking to split a signal with a DI box so one signal has all the effects and everything for guitar and the other is just a DI signal so I can reamp. On the thru out on the DI box, does that need to be connected to an instrument input on my saffire pro or just a line level input? Id appreciate any help. THanks.

Is this how you would do it? Cable from guitar to DI input/mic cable from output to line level input on saffire pro/cable from DI box Thru to whatever effects pedals are used/effects pedal output to saffire pro line level input.
