DI check

Look I used Marcu's DI's on my settings and they sound awsome, fuckin' kick ass. and brighter and AGAIN they aren't cut!!!!!!

people, what do you think about my DI´s?? good? bad?
i recorded it guitar directly to my presonus firebox preamp...i am not sure if it sounds good. i´d like more fat Di´s.

So I tried to lower the volume of the guitar and still the same even at lowest volume.

This tells me it is the pickup that cuts the peaks.

But to make sure... What is the full sound chain ?


And i seriously have no idea how Marcus got the DI to not look and sound like every EMG pickup i heard...
[edit] Hmm maybe it is because he plays it with a lighter hand so the pickup doesn't get as strong signal and doesn't clip it.

Lil bit too much gain on the preamp for chords.

yes, i see that in 0.16 but...rest good? ok.
i always think my DI´s are bad bad...not FAT DI´s...
