hmm I have heard of them. Are they active or passive pickups and is there any link to the IBANEZ V7/V8 pickups?

DiMarzio make passive pickups. There may be a relationship between them and ibanez, but I am not too sure if they designed the v7/v8 pickups or not. I know they did the ones for some of the higher end RG7's, and most of the ibanez signature series uses dimarzio's... In any case, if you get any pickups be they Dimarzio, Seymour Duncan, EMG's etc, you'll notice a difference in sound. Stock pickups are generally not too good, so may be an idea to replace them.
