Diamond Head US tour?

Wait for Diabolik to see this thread. He LOVES that album.
To be honest, I heard that album MANY years ago when I first got into DH, and didn't care for it. I need to revisit it, now that I am a lot more open minded overall about music in general. It might appeal to me more now than it did over 10 years ago.

Definitely revisit it, I went back to it and was amazed, one of those I have to hear all the way through once I've put it in...

Thanks for posting Bob.
Wow, I recall that album being different, but that's even moreso than I recall.

I have been digging 70s and 80s classic and hard rock more than ever these days.
That's not bad per se, but not what I would want to hear from Diamond Head.

Bob, seriously, if you even remotely like that style, you really need to check out some Uriah Heep.

Uriah Heep just rules. These old dudes still release quality albums, quite heavy for the style. Wake The Sleeper (2008) was an excellent traditional hard rock album, Book Of Lies was a killer song from it. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming disc, Into The Wild. Here is the first video (for the song Nail On The Head):

I hope to GOD that I can make that as well.

I seriously doubt there will ever be as intimate of a URIAH HEEP gig as at DURTIE NELLIES last year. That was so damn amazing.

The August show is at some new snooty north shore venue in Lincolnshire called VIPER ALLEY. Not thrilled about that, but will still be there for sure.

^^^Death and Progress is highly underrated as well (well, pretty much their whole catalog except what Metallica made famous!), but a Detroit show? I might be heading over to that one...
