Did she deserve it?

ok so what was so bad she deserved it? usually there is a link to old articles but there wasn't one on here just says she was beaten for a text.

edit: nvm re-read it, but does it say what the text said?

She apparently made some rash comments about his brother, who committed suicide a few months before. He nutted up over it.

15 yr old who just went through a severe family trauma shouldnt be considered totally wrong for doing what he did. what he did may have been wrong, but i think that with all things considered....come on....come on....

beating a girl within an inch of her life isn't a fitting punishment, but he also prob had some psycological problems and exploded so not entirely his fault.

hopefully this girl gets most of her shit back, minus the being a bitch part that led her to be pwned the first time.

He stomped her head in with steel toed boots, which makes it aggravated, so the law is going to probably not be kind to any mental illness he may have.

yeah i know he should go to jail, im just saying thats probably the reason why it happened, unless the guys violent and sadistic by nature or something.

This thread is disgusting.

I've been through a close suicide. At no point does her bringing it up, no matter how she brought it up, deserve to be stomped down with a steel toed boot. Fucking barbarians.

Oh go cry somewhere. The discussion has been civil thus far as to what actions are warranted and what was overkill.

A 15 year old being rendered permanently retarded for being a cunt is a bit much. He shoulda just knocked her around like she forgot to make him dinner.

Fact is, we don't know exactly what was in those texts, and we don't know what kind of harrassment had preceded the whole thing. I agree that stomping her head into mush is way out of proportion, but in our norm and value system, I personally think we focus too much on the actor of the violence, and not enough on what kind of provocations have preceded the incident.

Hard to say.

I know for sure that if someone did anything physically damaging to any member of my family, I'd hurt them back equally, if not worse.

But it does seem like the guy overreacted, considering this is all based on words.

I don't know.. like I said, it's hard to say unless you're actually confronted with the same situation.

Karma doesn't have a fucking thing to do with a kid nutting up over the loss of his brother and going way overboard.

I also agree with Stormo. What people don't realize nowadays is that words in any form can be hurtful or make someone lose their shit and go nuts. It's similar to people saying, "Oh, it's just the internet...it doesn't matter." Well, it does matter. If someone talks shit to me over the internet, I'm not going to punch my monitor but I've already decided that said person is a dick and I wouldn't want to have anything to do with him in real life; were someone to speak to me like that face to face, I'd probably punch them. Just because it's the internet or text messages doesn't make that person less of a douchebag. People need to watch what they say.
