Andy is the king. The album didnt have the most dynamic touch, but maybe Nevermore didnt want that. I cant say, I've heard any do a lot of shit though, and Testament's The Gathering had a dirtier [DNB] sound to it...

Bergstrand is a badass too. He's probably my second choice among producers and shit.

The problem isn't the speakers, it's the production. I have very nice speakers in my living room, and the bass comes accross OK on them. However, in both mine and my wife's car, and on my upstairs speakers, DNB sounds like crap. Given that none of the other 400+ CDs that I own exhibit this problem, I would have to say that the problem isn't with all my other speakers (or all the other folks on the board who complained), it's with NK's production job.
