Did you get duped by The End Records?

mine came in. with out autographs or the melltron heart cd. i dont care much about the autographs but i wanted mellotron heart. i could have bought this at the store with the vinyl for 30 dollars. i pay extra to get it online for the ..extra stuff and i do not get it.

the end records could have simply put on their website " the signed and extra disc of mellotron is sold out, but you can still pre order the vinyl and watershed editions through us.

but they did not.

low of these guys. i stiffed two of my local record stores that NEED the support so i can get it off of the ends website and this is what happens. fuck them.

I didn't get the autographed materials either even though I paid for them and got confirmation. Disappointed, especially after having such a good experience with the Ulver pre-order.

The order number shows exactly when you ordered relative to the others, so its no big mystery.

well that's business, they probably got a lot of people to buy with the promise of rarities, but at the same time, they amde no garentee you'd get one, i bought it hoping to get the signed/mellotron, i doubt i actually will get either, but i knew the risk going in. You took a chance, and you didn't get it, that's life

Maybe it was a case of reading the offer better, but no, it wasn't a "click-and-hope-for-the-best" thing for me. Their marketing offer enticed us to part with our money and didn't deliver. We could have bought the CD anywhere, but chose The End, in part, because of that offer.

well that also very valid, it is a dirty trick in a way, but at the same time, its a business, and they may have just hurt themselves by taking it down, and on the same note, they didnt process the orders until may, so its fair to say they didn't know, although chances are they did
anyway im going to stop defending the end, cause imo they've gone downhill since i first found them(maybe a year ago)

well it seems the end is delivering with mellotron heart, got an email from them with a free download of the track despite not being in the first 300 (well im assuming that, still waiting as im in australia)

Ok, they are resolving my case. I showed them that orders placed after mine had been receiving the autograph and poster, and they said they had a couple booklets around, so they are sending me one. It doesn't look like I'll be getting the poster, but oh well, they took the effort to take care of the problem, so I don't mind so much. So as long as I don't get a booklet signed by Bob from accounting, I'm good to go.

The signed booklet isn't sealed. If there isn't a loose booklet in your package then you didn't get the autographs.
