Sorry to be short and not actually thank the people who did actually help. Thank you to those who did give advice, it is much appreciated.

Looking back at this I appreciate how it could have come across as me being a chancer, but I assure you that wasn't the case. I had a session that I had to edit up that evening, and editing on my laptop was the only option. Just trying to work something out as quickly as possible, and thought someone may have more than one digi device.

Just as an example I have a Digi 003 and a Digi 002 (at my rehearsal studio). It isn't unheard of people having two. If this happened to someone else I would have happily given my extra code if I had it to hand to help someone avoid missing a deadline.

Regardless, I apologise.

To be fair a few of the "jokers" also did provide some info and/or help ... even if to just suggest copping serial numbers off eBay

But again, doesn't matter now. He got it all worked out so that's cool
