I don't think m-audio 1814 is a full system, but it has for 500 Eur adat inout so you can plug more stuff, mbox2 just 4 ins and the price is the same as m-audio 1814

I'm in no way interested in (or defending) the M-box 2, but it always irritates me when people compare a hardware software package to a single piece of harware and say: See...look how much more I can get for the same money. That is a misrepresentation of the facts.
Actually, an 1814+protools m-powered comes out to $900us vs. $500us for the M-box2.

BTW Maurizio, sorry if this came out overly aggressive towards you....it's something I see very often that bugs me.
