hey, i was just wonderin if anyone has tried any of these amps and if they are as good as they seem.. or are they just a money making scheme

theres a review in the new issue of guitar world i got today about these amps.
according to guitar world its a pretty good amp with few flaws. the biggets flaw they said was that there is a slight volume drop when the boost is engaged, but thats about it. and it's a necessity for those who wanna duplicate pantera's sound.
and of course its solid state, which means it goes for around $598
but i'd like to hear real peoples comments on it.
