Dime D100 - New Amp From Dean

Ugh god, so sick of Dean just using his name to push more products. Makes me fucking sick.

"Dimebag's new signature amp...........so you too can have the power of excessively mid scooped, harsh as fuck tone that doesn't compliment a mix very well" :erk:

Seriously, who the fuck in their right mind would want their guitar to sound like this :

When they can have it sound like this :

Or This, for another example:

I hugely respect Dimebag, and he's an amazing guitarist, no doubt, that changed how metal sounded forever, but I am completely, utterly dumbfounded as to how people ever heard Dimebag's tone as good.
Randy Rhoads is another one of those guys, fucking brilliant player, but god awful tone yet people seem to like it

Agree with Harry, and I'll put Zakk Wylde in that list as well, not so much for his tone, but for his style. I don't like his playing style at all, still respect cause he's a killer player and I do enjoy some of his songs, but dislike his style/tone in general.

And yeah I find it really sad for them to keep taking out Dimebag stuff

Ironically enough, that abum was half Warhead.

I've heard that Dime also blended Marshalls on a lot of the recorded Pantera stuff, but I'm not sure how true this is. And the Cowboys tone is probably my least fave of all the Pantera albums. I dig the tone on Far Beyond and Trendkill for what it is.

Dime always ruled. I loved his tone. The only guy who could make it work though.

To me, this amp sounds pretty shitty, but I can't tell from youtube anyway.
