Dimebag Darrell and another member of Damageplan were shot and killed whilst performing a show. Apparently they were not the only 'innocent' casualties - and the gunman was also killed by a police officer.

Messed up it is indeed... I'm not so much sad as shocked, never was a huge Pantera or Damageplan fan but I respect what he did for the genre as a whole.
Its a shame that I've read the story so much that its impact is wearing off...
