Dimmu Borgir- In Sorte Diaboli

Are there a lot of synths? I sure hope not.
I love Dimmu, but I could just imagine how much greater they would be if they got rid of that black metal Liberace, Mustis, and went the path of Immortal and Mayhem.

I heard a version of it that was pre-final... which was bad. I listened to the retail version the other day and it was worse.

0/10 from me.

yeah, i thought it was really weak, no really good songs at all, even the first track which they'll probably use for thier singles and stuff has laughable lyrics (i am hatred darkness and despair or whatever) and it really just isn't good. i'd give this album a 3/10 because its listenable, just not worth listening to.

If you valued children don't like it, I bet I will.

No, no... hardly the worst, but boring for sure. Would be nicer if they STOPPED USING THE SAME RIFF IN EVERY FUCKING SONG.

I haven't listened to it and I'd like to know why it's so bad.

The main part is that every song sounds like the song before it. There is no variation whatsoever. Also, Shagrath using as many effects on his vocals as he does drives me fucking insane.

I'd rather listen to St. Anger and Monotheist.

Monotheist is a like it/hate it album. There is no middle point.

My opinion of Monotheist is based on my firm stance of "There is no Celtic Frost but To Mega Therion Celtic Frost."
