This isn't a bad bill at all. I am hoping to see Dio, Anthrax and Fireball Ministry if they do come out west.

I saw Dio this summer at the tuska open air festival in helsinki,Finland.
The band were in prime form and delivered the goods. Deff. one of the best shows I have ever seen.
They even played one of my favourite rainbow songs 'Gates Of Babylon'.
Great show.

Granted, their newest albums are not the best they have ever done, but they are pretty damn good. (Except the cover for Dance of Death. That is the lamest, ever.) And they kick all sorts of ass live. Even the Blaze stuff sounds great with Bruce doing them live.

Dio did no solo material until after his stint in Sabbath. And I don't know how anyone can say Ronnie James Dio's Sabbath material sucked. Mob Rules sucked?!?!? Huh.

Regardless of whether we liked Ronnie in Sabbath ( I liked it) Anthrax needs to play with someone else. No offense to Ronnie but with Anthrax supporting him this is going to be a show where they dispense geritol with your beer.
Also, Ronnie had to suck on oxygen to get thru his set opening for Maiden last year in Long Beach.

Trax has to tour with some "fresh blood", this does nothing for the band!!!!!try Hatebreed, HazenStreet, something cool and heavy!!!!!!!!!

I doubt DIO would pull in a big crowd here in LA - If he drew over a 1000 fans I'd shit my pants. Believe me I'll go see thrax if I can whether its with DIO or Devo they're playing with. Bands like DIO would be lucky to play a small theatre out here. The only reason there was a good crowd to see him last year was that Motorhead opened the show and Maiden closed it. And yes there were some youngters at the show, some with parents, some young teens but it didn't look like they were there to hear Star Gazer. DIO was good but I really don't want to sit thru his set and here the keyboards. And Again I'm not trying to bash Ronnie but I really would like to see Anthrax turn it up a notch and play with some bands that will give them a run for their money.
