I personally think that Ripper is about the closest thing to Dio, so I want to see this. Badly.

as a one off thing i would have said cool, as a tour..maybe not so much..

would be very cool to see some dio covers probably done very well. I still think the very very best voice to do Dio covers is Joey Beladonna. as the guy has gotten older he has that bite in his voice that Dio has and sounds so much like him sometimes! and thats not just going on the big 4 although his cover on that was great.
