Direct Connect and Hub???

Ok.. I'm not the most computer literate guy. Everyone is always saying get this bootleg, that video etc etc off the UM hub and direct connect. What is this? Is it like a file sahring program? How can I get it?

Well, i was real sceptical(sp?) at first because here at Tech they are starting to get real pissy about p2p programs and the like. I went ahead and got it anyways, and it works a little differently than other p2ps. Go ahead and give it a try. There are quite a few boots on the hub, lots of audio and some video.

Und direct connect is a kind of peer to peer network. the best client for dc is called DC++ and you can grab it from http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/

Settings-->Sharing---> Share at least 2 slots and share at least 500mb of metal

just go to the settings and make it so you have more upload slots open...two for every hub you're connected to.
