Direct Connect Help?

Yo, trying to get Direct Connect up and running on a friends computer. He's on cable and I cna get a server lsit in public but everytime I go to connect there's a minute or so of nothing then "Disconnected from Hub". Ive tried Active and Passive, with firewall on and off. Nothing. Anyone got an idea?

i had that problem a few times
you need to fj00k around in the settings for a while and tell it tath j00 are running cable and not throught a firewall
then it should work

Are you following all these?

Rules:
1. Fake share = kick/ban
2. Cloning = kick/ban
3. No mldonkey
4. Don't be an asshole
5. The minimum share limit is 500mb. Feel lucky this is all we ask.
6. At least 1 slot per hub you're connected to for dial-up or ISDN. 2 per hub for Cable, DSL or better.
7. No Preteen/Animal/Incest/Forced/Lolita-Porn [Perm Ban]
8. Stay in the hub when you are downloading
9. Dont Use Slotlocker or Activated Uploadlimiter [Perm Ban]
10. No more than 5 hubs per user. One chance to correct this problem will be given, then banned.

make sure u have the correct version of DC.

if you download it from the first site that comes up on google then u get the WRONG VERSION
