Disappointing Albums

I got the idea from the album recommendation thread. What are some of your most recent disappointments.

I will start with Lacuna Coil 'Karmacode'.

I have not listened to Karmacode very thoroughly yet.. Initial impression is that every song sounds the same - but that's nothing new with Lacuna Coil .
Edguy's Rocket Ride is yet to excite me much at all either.


I'm still pissed and disappointed with everything that Iron Maiden and WASP have released since 1996. Cunts, fucking cunts.

I like Maiden's recent efforts.

The one that comes to mind right now is Living Colour's comeback album, Collideoscope. They recorded 40 songs or something, which should have resulted in a better album.

That album came and went quicker than Sydo drunk fucking after a bad curried chicken. Tracii was in Quiet Riot for a day and a half, and now seems to be touring with a poor mans version of his own band!

I was very disappointed with Karmacode, especially after seeing them on the college MTV channel. I was hoping they wer just becoming more popular, not selling out

It's true! I tried and tried to like the new album so much, because the debut was awesome and live they fucking destroyed, but it's just got no balls.

I seem to be the minority, but I have found the last few Katatonia albums incredibly dissapointing (after TOnights Decision).....

What else... bah, can't think right now.

Album of the year for me so far is the latest Scar Symmetry , you guys must check this band out , bloody awesome

I love Last Fair Deal Gone Down. Viva Emptiness is patchy but not that great. I haven't heard the newey yet.

Fate Of Norns fucking rocks. I like it as much as Versus The World, which I really love. Awesome band live, can't wait to see this new DVD that keeps getting delayed.

One of my most disappointing albums is Grave Digger's Rheingold. Has some great song on it, but the album overall just doesn't grab me much. Kind of like Virutal XI. Their weakest album, so I was a little disappointed when I heard their next album will pick up where the story left off for a new trilogy. Bah.

The most disappointing album in recent times is Vanishing Point's Embrace the Silence.

I'm pretty happy with it and cant wait to get back into the studio in the next few months to do the next album
