Dissolving Bonds....Graduation?

I read the lyrics yesterday and for sum reason based on this....


"Bells rang out the day of your worst fear
Obscure graduation day

I assume or gather that the song is about graduation,leaving your friends moving on etc?

Anyone got anything on this? I love trying to analyze songs but im generally wrong oh well.

I love this song, to me this song leaves it very open to any relationship that has failed, with two people in a relationship or a friendship that has dissolved. It almost seems like it's inevitable for people to go thier own way sometimes and the thought that one day, this day will occur....and all you have the past and rememberance of those times you spent together. I think "graduation" is more a metaphor for moving on.

Sometimes I think that it "may be" about suicide or death...But I'm not sure...

I think it's about suicide. Graduation is to move on and obscure is referencing to uncertainty of whats next. So it's about suicide or thoughts of suicide and uncertainty of the great beyond.
