Will I'm happy for ya....REALLY!!
BUT...
It has been my experience that battle of the band's are a joke. It's a great way for the club to make money and not have to pay the bands at all. It's more of a popularity contest than anything. Alot of the more talented bands get nothing out of it because their friends didn't show up.
Then usually they give you like 3 hours of recording time or something gay as a "PRIZE", which by the time you get a sound check you're looking at like 1/2 hour to freakin record anything. I hope I'm wrong here....

We got a little over $90 that night.
