i gotta admit, the guy's voice can sound ok at times when he's singing

but too many monkey sounds, too many shitty lyrics, too many attempts at being all dark/spooky/whatever, and too many shitty/generic riffs kill it for me

Like I said, I generally like what they put out, quite a lot usually. But I don't think this is a progression as much as just putting out an album. Some good tracks though XD

I hate it, I'd really like to like the album, and there are some awesome songs on it (Innocence, for example) BUT every few seconds I'm reminded of other songs.
and the lyrics are a bit too much pathetic for my tastes, at least from what I understand from listening.

I actually like Disturbed. I just dislike when Daiman does that 'Hooo Ha ha ha" thing, that he does on almost every song.

Btw, to me this CD sounds way more 'metal' - my wife thinks the same, and she hates Disturbed. The guitars are really thicker/louder but in a strange way. I kinda agree with Ermin that the bass and the guitar doesn't completely glue together, but fuck that. The cd sounds fine

Since I was the only one to say "Not interested in reading...", I'm going to avoid any future backpedalling and say it's safe to assume that the 'fine print' was directed at me, and that I don't have any issues of my own for interpreting it as such.
