man this type of stuff could be done so much better... nobody just has the interest or know-how to do it. this is all pretty boring.
if you ask me, i wouldn't be too worried about doing the dubstep tempo of 140... just take the most aggressive elements of the newer type of dubstep and blend them with some heavy ass shit, and i'll bang my tits off to it. that would be my take anyways. maybe i'll give it a shot one of these days, if i'll be able to get a better guitar.
dubstep and metal don't mix as-is... i think people are trying to blend the wrong elements. all these lame-ass sounding wobbles some new metalcore bands are using... sounds fucking pitiful. it's just so much harder to do than people think.
