i really doubt it is dislocated, you would be in horrible constant pain, it may be sprained? if it is still swolen like that in a few days, and the pain doesnt go away, i say go to the doctor. how did you do this?

latest femur update:
bursitis i have bursitis of the hip!!!:hotjump:
caused from standing too much(like i do at work) and overuse of the hip (...
)
and so the bursae of the hip become inflamed and filled with fluid. the bulge on my hip is right where the outiside bursa is located. and the pain on the inside of my leg is right where the inside bursa is located. all my symptoms are right on with it, including pain when standing up from a chair(my MAIN problem), and pain extending down the leg, which happens occasionally. only treatment i can give it for now is rest and icepacks and ibuprofen for a couple weeks. then if its still bad i may have to get the fluid drained
so basically, the two blue balls are swollen

apparently there's not much a doctor can do for it except stick a needle in it and let the juice out. but thats not always necessary. so i'll just take it easy from now on. no wiggling for a while haha
