@MagSec: It would be a pleasure to hang you. I'm not exactly sure if this company is going to be permanent for me or not. It all depends on whether or not I want to move out of the area. And the only thing that would make me move at some point would be my relationship situation, which I've told you about before. But I like this company, and would have no reason to leave it outside of geographic necessity.

I actually deleted few of my recent posts because I felt the world around me breaking and the urgent need to change A LOT, and the posts seemed useless as well.

come on, i'm sure that no matter how bad things are, your plans don't need that much revisiting. your projects are probably allowed a life of their own.

@fireangel: i think that if you choose to discuss things in private with two people you should also avoid mentioning the private discussions in public. this way, i would not feel like i am not allowed to ask questions on the board, as a consequence of not being amongst said two people.

this said, i think that rahvin is perfectly right when he says that plans have a life of their own. sometimes you just need to adjust your aim a little bit, although it seems that you need to redesign everything, but normally a lifelong plan is conceived over an interval of time; you are the result of the whole interval and no matter how revolutionary you feel in a certain moment you're not going to be able to change the outcome of years of choices behind you. which also is a good thing, because it saves most of us from total rashness.

in other words, you can play a different melody, but you're not able to instantly change the tuning, which is what makes you you. all good.

Here's one for you...I am a correctional officer for the state that I live in. For those who are not familiar with this term, I am a prison guard. I've been doing that for almost 14 years now and have achieved that rank of Captain. I like what I do for the most part, just when they move my shift around I get cranky!LOL I deal with murderers, rapists, etc. on a daily basis!! Not the most likely job for a heathen metal head huh??

I am not happy with my current occupation as a security guard. I didn't go to university for 5 years to end up with a job you learn in 4+5 days. Still, it pays for my bills but I hate working nights and being alone at work. And I hate travelling 4 hours every day to and from work. Maybe I have been too lazy about looking for a new job so far, but I am gonna change that.
