Ok there is a huge reason to why I'm upgrading this Fender! I made a bone nut plank and a luthier made the setup to work for Drop C in the nut. Eventually I started to realize that the tremolo bridge was crooked by alignment at the bridge, only at the top-lowest string screw hole, where the screws are to pivot the bridge, and caused a major rub in the nut slot over time. So the top-lowest string was pinging really bad and the rest of the 5 strings played perfectly fine. Seriously I would like to know what's the depths in the sections of the front cavity for the Floyd Rose bridge? I would like to give my Fender some lovin, rather than play some of my other guitars that I own for a change; different by its own quintessential sound it has. Eventually I'm going to put better pickups later; probably just the lower humbucker. So to upgrade, it's not going to cost as much. I already widened the middle for the sustain block to move over abit to the right so that the bridge will position correctly.

The total cost to upgrade this guitar $29.34 (the locking nut and Floyd Rose bridge). I found a really great quality Floyd Rose that's the same materials as the floating tremolo. It's from Hong Kong and it's not cheap enough to break. The string blocks are really durable too. I really searched long and hard to find a really great licensed Floyd Rose Bridge; it's really durable as it looks.

So all has to be done is to be recessed.

Never mind I finally found a source, however I might post some of the build-up work. Still going to practice on just simple planks, I don't want to mess up.
