Does anybody know the secrets of Myspace/CSS ??

}

div.blog {
position: absolute;
top: 629;
left: 50%;
margin-left: 239px;
width: 0px;
height: 0px;
}

</style>Heres the style I mean

<div class="header"><img src="url1" border="0"></div>

<div class="home"><a href="http://home.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user"><img src="url2" border="0"></a></div>

<div class="add"><a href="http://collect.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=invite.addfriend_verify&frien dID='YOUR FRIEND ID'"><img src="url3" border="0"></a></div>

<div class="message"><a href="http://messaging.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=mail.message&friendID='YOUR FRIEND ID'"><img src="url4" border="0"></a></div>

<div class="comment"><a href="http://comment.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewComments&friendID='Y OUR FRIEND ID'"><img src="url5" border="0"></a></div>

<div class="pictures"><a href="http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewAlbums&friendID='YOU R FRIEND ID'"><img src="url6" border="0"></a></div>

<div class="blog"><a href="http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.ListAll&friendID='YOUR FRIEND ID'"><img src="url7" border="0"></a></div>

<style>
.contactTable {display:none;}
.nametext {display:none;}
</style>

So would I be correct in assuming that the text/URLS after "style" points to Image urls for the above tables which share the same colour??????

Hmmm...Does anyone still even use myspace? 'cause it's pretty dead over here?
Facebook seems to be the new "in-thing"

Just curious

Yeah, myspace is dying, im still using it, but is getting boring and people have less interest day by day, even bands. i think is good, so people will go to check band´s REAL websites again, instead of a friend network.

What the hell is the big deal with facebook?
I just signed up for it a few days ago and it completely sucks ass. It's clunky as shit.

The only redeeming factor is JEDI VS SITH. I've been answering Star Wars trivia questions all day.
I even submitted a question based on THE EWOK ADVENTURE just to piss everyone off. LAOUL.

Dude, fuck those applications - being a social butterfly college student, I love facebook, but I always deny requests from all those stupid apps (vampires, pirates vs. ninjas, etc.)

It's becoming like myspace now with its newly added band profiles...And vice versa with Myspace's newly added home page (which looks similar to facebooks).

Since this topic just got bumped, I thought I would share my current method.

I've begun to target my audiences rather than just shotgun'ing all over the place randomly.
If we're fixing to play an area, I'll do a 5-10mile search for FEMALES 21-50 and just copy all of the viewprofile links into a text file. then I'll take that list, copy it into an Excel spreadsheet and use the REPLACE function to replace the viewprofile link with an addfriend link. i will then add proper html tags in adjacent cells - copy all that back into a text file and save it as HTML. then it's just a bigass list of add links i can go through.

THEN i'll start hitting all the links a few weeks before the show. A week before the show, I'll view all my NEW FRIENDS and go through and leave them comments like "Thanks for the add! We're playing THE CLUB this Friday so come party!". It seems somewhat effective, I get a few responses and it's a more personalized way of promoting I guess.

Also, here are my Myspace Netiquette guidlines...
1. Turn of the fucking autoplay
2. don't post huge image comments like an asshole
3. if it fucks up your layout, get that shit out
4. you don't need a slideshow or more than one video
5. i forgot
